  10. I signed up as responsible for my group without first seeing that I needed to be graduated in my area of work - which I'm not yet! So I would like to withdraw my registration so that the graduated colleague can register as responsible for our group.

  2. According to item 2.2 of the Public Notice:
    "2.2 Each participant (or team) will propose 1 (one) intervention for 1 (one) of the 10 (ten) buildings participating in the Festival. Submissions containing more than 1 (one) proposal, or a proposal spanning more than 1 (one) building will not be eligible for selection. The interventions should strive to dialogue with, allude to or insert itself within the chosen stilt system and related context."

  4. The Call does not provide participation certificates, but considering that all enabled projects will be displayed on the website, participation is easily verifiable.

    According to item 4.6 of the Public Notice:
    "4.6 There is no entry fee for participation in this Call."

  6. Proposals that consider public access should always solve it from the outside area of the building. The accesses from the internal area of the buildings will be controlled by the respective condominium and will only be allowed for technical execution solutions.

    "10.5 If “Outros Territórios” does advance to Phase II, the authors of the selected proposals will be invited to fine-tune and develop their projects (as per item 12.1.2 below)."

  10. There are no cash awards in Phase 1. The selected proposals will comprise an exhibition at the cultural venue Viaduto das Artes, and if Phase 2 occurs, the authors will be invited to technically fine-tune them and receive a grant for their execution.

    In addition, at the end of Phase I, all of the submissions meeting the submission guidelines and eligibility criteria will be posted on the website www.outrosterritorios.com.br for general consultation as an online gallery conveying the full spectrum of occupation possibilities.

  11. Will there be compensation to the artists?
  12. The compensation must be included in the budget of the proposal, which must observe the amount of 20,000.00 reais (equivalent, as of October 16, 2018, to USD 5,390).

  13. I am a student and I intend to enroll, should the application form be made in the name of the professional member? Does my name appear?
  14. Yes, the registration must be made on behalf of the professional member. This is because, considering the execution of the proposal as the main objective of the Call, there should be a responsible person able to respond technically by it later. The name of the other members should be entered in the "Team" session in the online form received by email. The complete team will be displayed in the technical file of the project on display.

  15. Regarding the presentation basis, how should we fit the requirements proposed in the edict, is there any format of board for assembling the same?
  16. According to item 5.1 of the Public Notice:
    "5.1 Proposals must be sent in PDF format (portrait or landscape) and NOT exceed 10 A3 (42x29.7cm) pages or 20 A4 pages (29.7x21cm) in length. Files must not exceed the megabyte maximum stipulated in the form."

  17. Is there a budget limit for the projects to be executed?
  18. According to item 2.5 of the Public Notice:
    "2.5 As feasibility is a prerequisite here, proposals must keep within the specified budget of R$ 20,000 (Twenty-thousand Reais), equivalent, as of October 16, 2018, to USD 5,390 (five thousand, three-hundred and ninety dollars). Expenditure must be itemized and justified in accordance with item 5.2 below."

  20. No problem, as the registration will only take effect after sending the proposal. You can join another team as a member by entering your data in the "Team" session in the online form received by email from the team leader.
